Atorvastatin

A statin medication that works by blocking the production of cholesterol in the liver.

Fenofibrate

A fibrate medication that helps lower levels of triglycerides and raise levels of good cholesterol (hdl) in the blood.

High cholesterol (hyperlipidemia) and mixed dyslipidemia, especially when other treatments, like diet and exercise, haven't been successful.

To reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other heartrelated problems in people with high cholesterol and other risk factors.

Atorvastatin inhibits the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which is involved in cholesterol production in the liver. Fenofibrate activates PPAR-alpha receptors in the body, which helps regulate lipid metabolism, leading to decreased triglyceride levels and increased HDL cholesterol.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is individualized and depends on your specific needs and condition. It is usually taken once a day, with or without food.

Rare but serious side effects: muscle breakdown (rhabdomyolysis), pancreatitis, and allergic reactions.

Increased risk of diabetes

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of liver damage. Discuss your alcohol intake with your doctor.



While Driving or operating Machinery

May cause dizziness or drowsiness in some people. Avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience these side effects.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Discuss with your doctor about safe alternatives.



Children

Not recommended for children.



Kidney

May need dosage adjustments in people with kidney problems. Discuss with your doctor.



Liver
