A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Telmisartan

An angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that also relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.

High blood pressure (hypertension)

To reduce the risk of stroke in patients with high blood pressure and left ventricular hypertrophy (thickening of the heart muscle)

Cetanil T 20/80mg Tab (Cilnidipine + Telmisartan) work together to lower blood pressure. Cilnidipine blocks calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells of blood vessels, causing them to relax and widen. This reduces the resistance to blood flow, lowering blood pressure. Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels. By blocking angiotensin II, telmisartan also causes blood vessels to relax and widen, further lowering blood pressure.

Store the medicine in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Cilnidipine + Telmisartan will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical condition.

It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

It is important to take this medicine as directed by your doctor. Do not miss doses or stop taking it without consulting your doctor.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of dizziness or lightheadedness. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption while taking this medicine.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Cilnidipine + Telmisartan can cause dizziness and lightheadedness, especially when you first start taking it. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medicine is not recommended for pregnant women. It is also not recommended for breastfeeding mothers as it may pass into breast milk.



Children

This medicine is not recommended for children.



Kidney

Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, as the dosage may need to be adjusted.



Liver

Tell your doctor if you have liver problems, as the dosage may need to be adjusted.
