Cefadroxil

A type of antibiotic called a cephalosporin, effective against a wide range of bacteria.

Clavulanic Acid

A substance that protects cefadroxil from being broken down by certain enzymes produced by bacteria, enhancing its effectiveness.

Bacterial infections affecting the skin, ears, respiratory tract, urinary tract, and other parts of the body.

Used when other antibiotics are ineffective or not suitable for the infection.

Cefadroxil works by interfering with the production of essential bacterial cell wall components, ultimately leading to bacterial death. Clavulanic acid protects cefadroxil from inactivation by bacterial enzymes, allowing it to work effectively against a wider range of bacteria.

Store the medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Dosage varies depending on the type and severity of the infection and the patient's age and weight.

Usually taken by mouth, with or without food, as directed by your doctor.

Complete the full course of medication, even if you feel better, to prevent the infection from returning.
