Carpine Eye Drops 5ml (Pilocarpine) works by mimicking the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system. This action leads to several effects, including increased tear production in the eye, constriction of the pupil (miosis), and relaxation of the ciliary muscle, which improves drainage of fluid from the eye. In the case of sweating, pilocarpine stimulates sweat glands.
Store pilocarpine at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
The dosage of pilocarpine varies depending on the condition being treated and the individual patient.
It is usually administered as eye drops, but it can also be given as a tablet or injection.
