Carnosin 6mg/2ml Inj (Adenosine) slows the conduction of electrical impulses through the heart's atrioventricular (AV) node. This temporarily interrupts abnormal heart rhythms, allowing the heart to return to its normal rhythm. Its effects are very short-lived.

Store at controlled room temperature (20°C to 25°C). Protect from light and moisture. Discard any unused medication according to the instructions provided by your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

The dosage is determined by your doctor and is typically given intravenously (IV) as a rapid bolus injection.

A second dose may be given if the first dose is ineffective.

Flushing (feeling of warmth in the face and neck)

While Driving or operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating machinery until the effects of adenosine have worn off completely.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

The use of adenosine during pregnancy and breastfeeding should only be considered if the benefits outweigh the potential risks. Consult your doctor immediately.



Children

Dosage and use in children should be determined by a physician. It's not routinely used in pediatric patients for PSVT.



Kidney

Renal impairment may necessitate dosage adjustment; consult with your doctor.
