Benidipine

Benidipine is the active ingredient in this medication.It is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) belonging to the dihydropyridine class.

Benidipine is primarily prescribed for the management of high blood pressure (hypertension).

Caritec 8mg Tab (Benidipine) works by relaxing blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure. It achieves this by blocking calcium channels in the smooth muscles of blood vessels, preventing calcium from entering the cells. This relaxation leads to reduced resistance to blood flow, ultimately lowering blood pressure.

Store benidipine tablets in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not store it in the bathroom or any other humid areas.

The dosage of benidipine will vary depending on the individual's condition, response to treatment, and other factors. It's essential to follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Benidipine is usually taken once daily, preferably in the morning, with or without food.

Do not crush, break, or chew the tablets. Swallow them whole with a glass of water.
