Cardilo At Tab (Atenolol + Losartan) work together to lower blood pressure by reducing the heart's workload and relaxing blood vessels. Atenolol blocks the effects of adrenaline on the heart, slowing down the heart rate and reducing the force of each beat. Losartan blocks the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which causes blood vessels to narrow. By relaxing blood vessels, losartan reduces the resistance the heart has to pump against, thereby lowering blood pressure.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Atenolol + Losartan varies depending on your individual needs and medical condition. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose for you.

It is usually taken once daily, with or without food.

Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets.

It is important to take this medication regularly as prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel well.

Do not stop taking Atenolol + Losartan without consulting your doctor.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or operating Machinery

Atenolol + Losartan can cause dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Atenolol + Losartan is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It can harm the developing baby. It is also not recommended for use while breastfeeding, as it may pass into breast milk.



Children

Atenolol + Losartan is not recommended for use in children.



Kidney

If you have kidney problems, your doctor may adjust your dose or monitor you closely while you take Atenolol + Losartan.



Liver

If you have liver problems, your doctor may adjust your dose or monitor you closely while you take Atenolol + Losartan.
