Ramipril

Ramipril blocks the angiotensin-converting enzyme, reducing the production of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Atorvastatin inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol production in the liver, leading to lower LDL ('bad') cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and increased HDL ('good') cholesterol levels. The combined effect lowers blood pressure and improves lipid profiles, reducing cardiovascular risk.

Kidney
