Clotrimazole

An antifungal medication that works by stopping the growth of fungi.

Selenium Disulfide

An anti-dandruff agent that helps to reduce the growth of the fungus malassezia globosa, a common cause of dandruff.

Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff) of the scalp.

Treatment of tinea versicolor (a fungal skin infection that causes patches of discolored skin).

Clotrimazole works by inhibiting the growth of fungi by interfering with the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. Selenium disulfide helps to reduce the growth of the Malassezia globosa fungus by disrupting its cell membrane and interfering with its metabolism.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). Keep out of reach of children.

Apply to the affected area of the scalp twice a day.

Massage gently into the scalp.

Continue treatment for 2-4 weeks, or as directed by your doctor.

Skin irritation, redness, or itching.

Dryness or flaking of the skin.

Burning or stinging sensation.

Hair loss (rare).

Alcohol Consumption

No known interactions with alcohol.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication does not usually affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Not recommended for use in children under the age of 12 without a doctor's advice.



Kidney

No known interactions with kidney function.



Liver

No known interactions with liver function.
