An antifungal medication that works by stopping the growth of fungi.

Selenium Sulphide

An anti-dandruff agent that works by slowing down the growth of the fungus malassezia globosa, which is a common cause of dandruff.

Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff) of the scalp.

Treatment of tinea versicolor (a fungal skin infection that causes patches of discolored skin).

Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication that works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. This disrupts the fungal cell membrane, leading to cell death. Selenium sulphide works by inhibiting the growth of the fungus Malassezia globosa, which is a common cause of dandruff. It also reduces inflammation and scaling associated with dandruff.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Apply to the affected area of the scalp once or twice daily, as directed by your doctor.

Gently massage the medication into the scalp and leave it on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it off.

Redness or dryness of the skin.

Hair loss (in rare cases).

No known effects on driving or operating machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

It is generally safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, consult with your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age.



Kidney

No known effects on kidney function.



Liver
