Bromhexine

Bromhexine is the active ingredient in medications containing this drug formulation.It is available in various forms, including tablets, syrup, and capsules.

Treatment of productive cough associated with acute and chronic respiratory diseases, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, and emphysema.

Used to help thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to cough up.

Brohex Syp 100ml (Bromhexine) works by breaking down the bonds between the molecules of mucus, making it less viscous and easier to expel. This process is known as mucolytic action.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should be prescribed by a doctor and depends on the age, weight, and severity of the condition.

Typically taken by mouth, with or without food.
