Blonitas 4mg Tab (Blonanserin) is a dopamine D2 and serotonin 5-HT2A receptor antagonist. It works by blocking the action of dopamine and serotonin in the brain, which helps to reduce the symptoms of schizophrenia and mania.

Store at room temperature, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of blonanserin should be determined by a physician based on individual patient needs and response to treatment.

It is typically administered orally, once daily.

Somnolence (sleepiness)

Weight gain

Prolactin elevation (leading to galactorrhea, gynecomastia)

Orthostatic hypotension

QT prolongation (in rare cases)

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption as it can potentiate the sedative effects of blonanserin.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how blonanserin affects you, as it may cause drowsiness.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Blonanserin is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor for advice.



Children

Blonanserin is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

Dose adjustment may be needed for patients with severe kidney impairment. Consult your physician.



Liver

Dose adjustment may be needed for patients with severe liver impairment. Consult your physician.
