Bilastine

Is the active ingredient in this medication.

Treatment of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, and itchy eyes.

Treatment of urticaria (hives).

Bilasun 40mg Tab (Bilastine) is a non-sedating antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, a chemical that is released by the body during allergic reactions. By blocking histamine, bilastine helps to reduce the symptoms of allergies.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). Protect from light and moisture.

The usual adult dose is one tablet (20 mg) once daily.

This medication may be taken with or without food.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Gastrointestinal upset

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may enhance the sedative effects of bilastine. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.



Kidney

Caution is advised in patients with kidney disease. Your doctor may adjust your dosage or frequency of use based on your kidney function.



Liver

Caution is advised in patients with liver disease. Your doctor may adjust your dosage or frequency of use based on your liver function.
