Hydrochlorothiazide

A thiazide diuretic that also helps your body eliminate excess water and sodium.

High blood pressure (hypertension)

Fluid retention (edema) associated with heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disease

Biduret L Tab (Amiloride + Hydrochlorothiazide) works by blocking the reabsorption of sodium and water in the kidneys, increasing urine output and lowering blood pressure. Amiloride conserves potassium while hydrochlorothiazide can cause potassium loss. This combination balances these effects.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is individualized based on your condition and response to treatment. Typically, it is taken once daily, preferably in the morning.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not change your dosage without consulting them.

Take the medication with a full glass of water.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it can worsen low blood pressure.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Be cautious as this medication may cause dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience these symptoms.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication should only be used during pregnancy if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. It is not recommended during breastfeeding.



Children

Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.



Kidney

Use with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dosage adjustment may be necessary.



Liver

Use with caution in patients with liver disease. Dosage adjustment may be necessary.
