Brimonidine Tartrate

Is an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist.

Timolol Maleate

Is a beta-blocker.

Treatment of openangle glaucoma.

Treatment of ocular hypertension.

Brimonidine tartrate reduces intraocular pressure (IOP) by decreasing the production of aqueous humor. Timolol maleate reduces IOP by decreasing the production of aqueous humor and increasing the outflow of aqueous humor.

Store at room temperature, 15-30 degrees Celsius (59-86 degrees Fahrenheit), in a tightly closed container.

Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice a day.

Do not use more often than directed.

If using more than one eye drop, wait at least 5 minutes between each drop.

Wash hands thoroughly before and after instilling the eye drops.

Eye redness.

Eye irritation.

Burning sensation in the eyes.

Blurred vision.

Dry eyes.

Headache.

Fatigue.

Dizziness.

Nasal congestion.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption while using this medication, as it may increase the risk of dizziness.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you. It may cause blurred vision or dizziness.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for use in children.



Kidney

No special precautions are required for patients with kidney disease.



Liver

No special precautions are required for patients with liver disease.
