It is sometimes used offlabel to treat other conditions, such as rosacea.
Bidin Ls Eye Drops 5ml (Brimonidine Tartrate) works by reducing the production of fluid within the eye, which helps to lower eye pressure. It does this by activating alpha-2 adrenergic receptors in the eye, which then decrease the production of aqueous humor (the fluid in the eye).
Store brimonidine tartrate eye drops at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not freeze.
The dosage of brimonidine tartrate will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and the severity of your condition.
Typically, the recommended dose is one or two drops in the affected eye(s) twice daily.
It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
