This combination medication works by: Atenolol: Blocking the effects of adrenaline on the heart, leading to a slower heart rate and lower blood pressure. Amiloride and Hydrochlorothiazide: Increasing urine output by removing excess water and sodium from the body, which helps lower blood pressure. Amiloride helps prevent potassium loss, a common side effect of thiazide diuretics.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical condition.

It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not change the dosage without consulting them.

Do not stop taking this medication abruptly, as it could worsen your condition.

Serious side effects are less common but can include: Low blood pressure (hypotension) Slow heart rate (bradycardia) Irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) Potassium build-up in the blood (hyperkalemia) Allergic reactions

Common side effects include dizziness, fatigue, headache, nausea, and constipation.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can enhance the effects of this medication and increase the risk of side effects. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness or fatigue, which can affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. Avoid these activities until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication can cross the placenta and enter breast milk. Talk to your doctor about the potential risks and benefits of taking this medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not typically used in children.



Kidney

If you have kidney problems, your doctor may adjust the dosage or monitor you closely for side effects.



Liver

This medication is not recommended for people with severe liver disease.
