Benidipine

A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Metoprolol

A beta-blocker that slows down the heart rate and reduces the force of heart contractions, also lowering blood pressure.

High blood pressure (hypertension)

Angina (chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart)

This combination medication works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing down the heart rate. Benidipine blocks calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells of blood vessels, leading to relaxation and widening of the vessels. Metoprolol blocks the effects of adrenaline and other hormones that can cause the heart to beat faster and stronger, thus lowering blood pressure and reducing the workload of the heart.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not flush unused medication down the toilet or pour it into a drain unless instructed to do so by your doctor.

The dosage of Benidipine + Metoprolol is determined by your doctor and will depend on your individual needs and medical condition.

It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication can cause dizziness or fatigue. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children.
