Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)

Azelnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, reducing blood pressure. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker that also helps lower blood pressure by blocking the effects of a hormone that constricts blood vessels.

Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical history.

The usual starting dose is one tablet taken once daily.

The tablet can be taken with or without food.

It is important to take the medication regularly as directed by your doctor, even if you feel well.

Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It is also not known if it passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor about the risks and benefits of using this medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding.



Children

Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.



Kidney

Dosage adjustments may be necessary for patients with kidney problems.



Liver

This medication should be used with caution in patients with liver problems. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.
