Azeldip 16 Tab (Azelnidipine) is a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure. Specifically, it inhibits the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells, leading to vasodilation.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual needs and response.

Typically administered orally, once daily.

Do not abruptly stop taking azelnidipine without consulting your doctor.

Flushing

Peripheral edema (swelling in the extremities)

Nausea

Fatigue

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may enhance the hypotensive effects of azelnidipine. Limit alcohol consumption.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Azelnidipine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before using azelnidipine if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.



Children

Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.



Kidney

Caution is advised in patients with impaired kidney function. Dosage adjustment may be necessary.



Liver

Caution is advised in patients with impaired liver function. Dosage adjustment may be necessary.
