Azelaic Acid

Is the active ingredient in this medication. it is a dicarboxylic acid found naturally in grains such as wheat, rye, and barley.

Treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris (pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads).

Treatment of rosacea, a skin condition that causes redness, bumps, and blood vessels to become visible on the face.

Az Acnewin 10% Cream 15gm (Azelaic Acid) works by reducing inflammation and killing bacteria that can cause acne. It also helps to reduce the production of keratin, a protein that can clog pores and lead to breakouts. It's also thought to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be helpful in treating rosacea.

Store azelaic acid at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.

Apply a thin layer of azelaic acid cream or gel to the affected area twice daily, morning and evening.

Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the medication.

Do not apply the medication to broken or irritated skin.

Redness or dryness of the skin.

Skin peeling or flaking.

Rarely, allergic reactions such as hives, rash, or swelling.

Alcohol Consumption

No known interactions with alcohol.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Azelaic acid is not expected to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

It is not recommended to use azelaic acid during pregnancy or while breastfeeding unless your doctor advises it. Consult with your doctor for guidance.



Children

Use in children is not recommended unless prescribed by a doctor.
