Aximeta 35mg Tablet (Trimetazidine) works by improving the energy production in heart cells, particularly in situations of low oxygen supply. It does this by inhibiting an enzyme called 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase, which is involved in fatty acid metabolism. By inhibiting this enzyme, trimetazidine promotes the use of glucose as an energy source in heart cells, even when oxygen supply is limited. This helps to reduce the workload on the heart and prevents angina symptoms.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women
