Docetaxel

Docetaxel is the active ingredient in the medication.It is a chemotherapy drug belonging to the taxane class.

Axidoxel 120 Injection (Docetaxel) works by interfering with the growth and division of cancer cells. Specifically, it prevents the formation of microtubules, which are essential for cell division. This disruption leads to the death of cancer cells.

Docetaxel should be stored in the refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C (36°F and 46°F). Keep it out of reach of children. Do not freeze the medication. Do not use docetaxel if it has been frozen.

The dosage and frequency of docetaxel administration are determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and the type of cancer being treated.

Docetaxel is typically administered intravenously (into a vein) by a healthcare professional.

The medication is usually given as a slow infusion over a period of 1 hour.

Low blood cell counts (neutropenia, anemia, thrombocytopenia)

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or Operating Machinery

Docetaxel can cause fatigue, dizziness, and other side effects that may impair your ability to drive or operate machinery. Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience these side effects.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Docetaxel is harmful to a developing fetus. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It is also not recommended for use during breastfeeding as it can be passed into breast milk.



Children

Docetaxel is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

Kidney function should be monitored closely during docetaxel treatment, as the medication can cause kidney problems.



Liver

Liver function should be monitored closely during docetaxel treatment, as the medication can cause liver problems.
