Oxazepam is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called benzodiazepines.

Anxozap 15mg Tab (Oxazepam) works by enhancing the effects of a naturally occurring chemical in the brain called GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid). GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, meaning it helps to calm and relax the brain and nervous system. By increasing GABA activity, oxazepam reduces anxiety, promotes sleep, and relieves muscle tension.

Store oxazepam at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of oxazepam will vary depending on the individual patient, the condition being treated, and the severity of symptoms.

It is typically taken by mouth, with or without food.
