Chlorpheniramine Maleate

An antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical that is released by the body during an allergic reaction.

Phenylephrine

A decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in the nose, reducing nasal congestion.

Relief of symptoms associated with the common cold, hay fever, and other allergies, such as:

Itchy, watery eyes

Nasal congestion

Chlorpheniramine Maleate blocks histamine receptors, preventing histamine from causing allergy symptoms. Phenylephrine constricts blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Take 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed, not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Children 6-12 years of age: Take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours as needed, not to exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.

Children under 6 years of age: Consult a physician.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol while taking this medication as it can increase drowsiness.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you, as it can cause drowsiness.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Do not give this medication to children under 6 years of age without consulting a physician.



Kidney

Use with caution in patients with kidney disease.



Liver

Use with caution in patients with liver disease.
