Betamethasone

Clotrimazole

An antifungal medication that kills various fungi, including those causing skin infections.

Gentamicin

An antibiotic that combats bacteria, effective against a range of bacterial skin infections.

Conditions such as eczema with secondary bacterial and/or fungal infection.

Betamethasone reduces inflammation and itching by suppressing the inflammatory response. Clotrimazole disrupts the fungal cell membrane, leading to fungal cell death. Gentamicin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, resulting in bacterial cell death. The combined action provides broad-spectrum coverage against inflammatory, fungal, and bacterial components of skin infections.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or the cream has changed in appearance.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily.

Duration of treatment should be as directed by your doctor, typically until clinical resolution.

Do not use on large areas of skin without consulting a physician.

Skin burning, stinging, or irritation.

Skin thinning (with prolonged use).

Increased susceptibility to infection.

Alcohol Consumption

No specific restrictions, but excessive alcohol consumption may impair overall health and wound healing.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Generally safe, but potential side effects like dizziness (rare) should be considered.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use should be limited and only when strictly necessary.



Children

Use only as directed by a pediatrician. Avoid use on large areas of a child's skin.



Kidney

Caution is advised in patients with kidney impairment due to the gentamicin component.



Liver

No specific contraindications, but liver function should be monitored in patients with pre-existing liver conditions.
