Aminophylline

Aminophylline is a medication that contains theophylline, a bronchodilator.Theophylline works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, making it easier to breathe.

Aminophylline Inj 25ml (Aminophylline), containing theophylline, is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the airways, specifically the bronchioles, leading to widening of the airways and improved airflow. This effect is achieved by inhibiting the action of phosphodiesterase, an enzyme that breaks down cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). Increased levels of cAMP lead to relaxation of airway smooth muscles.
