It can also be used to prevent these heart rhythm problems from happening again.

Amedron 200 Tab (Amiodarone) works by blocking the electrical signals in the heart that cause irregular heartbeats. This helps to restore a normal heart rhythm.

Store amiodarone at room temperature, away from heat and light. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of amiodarone will vary depending on your condition and how your body responds to the medication.

It is important to take amiodarone exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Do not stop taking amiodarone without talking to your doctor, even if you feel better.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of side effects from amiodarone. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Amiodarone can cause dizziness, fatigue, and vision problems. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Amiodarone can harm an unborn baby. Do not take this medication if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. It is also not recommended for breastfeeding women.



Children

The safety and effectiveness of amiodarone have not been established in children. It is not recommended for use in children.



Kidney
