Aloja 12.5mg Tab (Alogliptin) is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. It works by increasing the levels of incretin hormones, GLP-1 and GIP, which stimulate insulin release from the pancreas in response to rising blood glucose levels and suppress glucagon secretion. This helps lower blood sugar levels.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard unused medication according to your pharmacist's or doctor's instructions.

It is typically administered orally, once daily, with or without food.
