Fexofenadine is the active ingredient in this medication.It is a non-sedating antihistamine that belongs to a class of drugs called H1 receptor antagonists.
Relieves symptoms of seasonal allergies (hay fever) such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and itchy nose/throat.
Relieves symptoms of chronic urticaria (hives) such as skin itching and welts.
Allegra 30mg Tab (Fexofenadine) works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergy symptoms. It does this by binding to histamine receptors, preventing histamine from attaching and causing allergic reactions.
Store at room temperature between 15-30 degrees Celsius (59-86 degrees Fahrenheit). Keep away from moisture and heat.
The dosage of fexofenadine varies depending on the condition being treated and the individual's age and weight. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
This medicine is usually taken once or twice daily, with or without food.
Do not crush or chew the tablets; swallow them whole with water.
