Aldactone 100mg Tab (Spironolactone) is a potassium-sparing diuretic (water pill) and an aldosterone receptor antagonist. It works by blocking the effects of aldosterone, a hormone that causes the kidneys to retain sodium and water while excreting potassium. By blocking aldosterone, spironolactone increases the excretion of sodium and water, reducing fluid retention and blood pressure. It also helps to conserve potassium.

Store spironolactone tablets at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any medication that is outdated or no longer needed according to the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.

Dosage varies greatly depending on the condition being treated and individual patient factors. Always follow your doctor's prescription exactly.

It is usually taken orally, once or twice daily with or without food.

Never adjust the dosage or stop taking the medication without consulting your physician.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Kidney
