Alcaftadine

An antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical that is released during allergic reactions.

Ketorolac Tromethamine

A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) that reduces pain and inflammation.

Treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (hay fever) in adults and children 2 years of age and older.

Shortterm management of pain associated with minor surgery and dental procedures in adults.

0 Alcaftadine: Blocks the histamine H1 receptors, which are found on various cells in the body. This prevents histamine from binding to these receptors and triggering an allergic response.1 Ketorolac Tromethamine: Inhibits the production of prostaglandins, chemicals that cause inflammation and pain.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F).

Do not use after the expiration date printed on the bottle.

Alcaftadine: For seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice a day.

Ketorolac Tromethamine: For pain management, the usual dose is 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) four times a day for up to 4 days.

Alcaftadine: Burning or stinging sensation in the eye, eye redness, blurred vision, dry eye, headache.

Ketorolac Tromethamine: Burning or stinging sensation in the eye, eye redness, blurred vision, dry eye, headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhea.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Ketorolac Tromethamine, as it can increase the risk of stomach bleeding.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience blurred vision or other side effects that may impair your ability to perform these activities.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Use caution when using alcaftadine and ketorolac tromethamine during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before using these medications.



Children

Alcaftadine is safe for children 2 years of age and older. Ketorolac tromethamine is not recommended for children.



Kidney

Use with caution in patients with kidney problems.



Liver

Use with caution in patients with liver problems.
