Clavulanic Acid

An inhibitor that prevents bacteria from deactivating amoxicillin.

Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamases, enzymes produced by bacteria that inactivate amoxicillin, thus extending the antibiotic's effectiveness against a broader range of bacteria.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C) in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage varies depending on the infection, patient age, and weight. Always follow your doctor's prescription.

Take the medication with a full glass of water.

Complete the entire course of antibiotics, even if you start feeling better.

Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
