Quinapril is the active ingredient in the medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.

Acupil 10mg Tab (Quinapril) works by blocking the action of an enzyme called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). ACE is involved in the production of a hormone called angiotensin II, which causes blood vessels to narrow. By blocking ACE, quinapril lowers angiotensin II levels, leading to relaxation of blood vessels, reducing blood pressure and improving blood flow.
Store quinapril at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it in its original container. Do not use quinapril after the expiration date.
The dosage of quinapril will depend on your medical condition and response to treatment.
It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.
Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not change your dosage without consulting your doctor.
