Acupenem Inj 0.5gm (Meropenem) is a carbapenem antibiotic. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, ultimately leading to bacterial cell death. It is effective against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

Store at controlled room temperature (20°C to 25°C). Protect from light and moisture. Discard any unused portion after the expiration date.

Meropenem is usually administered intravenously or intramuscularly.
