Hydrochlorothiazide: A diuretic (water pill) that helps the body get rid of excess salt and water, lowering blood pressure.

This combination medication is prescribed to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It may be used alone or in combination with other medications.

Common side effects include dizziness, lightheadedness, fatigue, headache, cough, and muscle cramps.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of side effects from this medication. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication can cause dizziness or lightheadedness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women
