Amlodipine

A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Lisinopril

An ace inhibitor that prevents the production of substances that narrow blood vessels, also lowering blood pressure.

Treatment of coronary artery disease (CAD)

Reduction of cardiovascular events in patients with high blood pressure and high risk for cardiovascular events.

Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels directly, while lisinopril indirectly lowers blood pressure by inhibiting the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS), reducing vasoconstriction and fluid retention. This combined action leads to more effective blood pressure control than either drug alone.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or the expiration date has passed.

Typically, the medication is taken once daily, with or without food.

Alcohol Consumption

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor immediately before taking this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant. This medication may be harmful to a fetus or nursing infant.



Children

Use in children is not typically recommended unless specifically prescribed by a pediatrician.



Kidney

Kidney function should be monitored, especially in patients with pre-existing kidney disease. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.
