Sisomicin

Sisomicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic.It is available in various formulations, including intravenous (IV) injections, intramuscular (IM) injections, and topical solutions.

Sisomicin is used to treat severe bacterial infections, particularly those caused by gramnegative bacteria.

It is often used for infections affecting the lungs (pneumonia), urinary tract, skin, and bloodstream (bacteremia).

Sisomicin may also be used to treat certain types of infections in the abdomen and bones.

Aarmycin Cream 15gm (Sisomicin) works by interfering with the production of proteins in bacteria, leading to their death. It binds to the 30S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, inhibiting protein synthesis and ultimately killing the bacteria.
