Zorem Lt 2.5mg Tab (Ramipril + Losartan) are both blood pressure-lowering medications that work in different ways to reduce blood pressure. Ramipril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It blocks the production of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels and raises blood pressure. Losartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the action of angiotensin II by preventing it from binding to its receptors in blood vessels. By working together, Ramipril and Losartan can effectively lower blood pressure and improve cardiovascular health.

Store the medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the medication out of reach of children and pets. Do not flush unused medication down the toilet or pour it into a drain unless instructed to do so by your doctor or pharmacist.

The dosage of Ramipril and Losartan will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical history.

It is typically taken once a day, with or without food.

Do not stop taking this medication without talking to your doctor, even if you feel better.

Follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor carefully.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of side effects, especially low blood pressure. It is best to avoid or limit alcohol intake while taking this medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication can cause dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy, as it can harm the developing fetus. It is also not recommended for use during breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

If you have kidney problems, your doctor may need to adjust your dosage. This medication can also cause kidney problems in some people.



Liver

This medication may be harmful to people with liver problems.
