Voriconazole

Is the active ingredient in this medication. it is an antifungal medication belonging to the triazole class.

Voriconazole is used to treat serious fungal infections in various parts of the body, including:

Aspergillosis (infection caused by Aspergillus fungus)

Candidiasis (infection caused by Candida fungus)

Voriconazole may harm an unborn baby. It's not recommended for pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks. It's also not recommended for breastfeeding women as it can pass into breast milk and harm the baby.



Children

Voriconazole is not recommended for children unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks.



Kidney

If you have kidney problems, your doctor may need to adjust your dosage of Voriconazole.



Liver

Voriconazole can cause liver problems. Your doctor may need to monitor your liver function while you are taking this medication.
