How Valus 20mg Tab Works

Valus 20mg Tab (Valdecoxib) is a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor. COX-2 is an enzyme involved in the production of prostaglandins, which contribute to pain, inflammation, and fever. By selectively inhibiting COX-2, valdecoxib reduces inflammation and pain without significantly inhibiting COX-1, which is involved in protecting the stomach lining.
