Travoprost

Is the active ingredient.

Lowering intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with openangle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure (ocular hypertension).

Travo Eye Drops 3ml (Travoprost) is a prostaglandin analog that reduces intraocular pressure by increasing uveoscleral outflow of aqueous humor. It does not significantly affect aqueous humor production.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage and frequency will be determined by your ophthalmologist.

Typically, one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.

Changes in eyelash and eyelid appearance (lengthening, thickening, darkening)

Eye irritation (burning, stinging, itching)

Eyelid skin discoloration

Conjunctival hyperemia (redness of the eye)

Iris hyperpigmentation (darkening of the iris)

Macular edema (swelling of the macula)

Eye pain

Alcohol Consumption

The effect of alcohol on travoprost is not well established. Consult your doctor.



Driving or Operating Machinery

May cause blurred vision temporarily. Avoid driving or operating machinery until vision is clear.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Use only if clearly needed. Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy or breastfeeding.



Children

Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.



Kidney

No specific dosage adjustments are typically needed for patients with renal impairment.



Liver

No specific dosage adjustments are typically needed for patients with hepatic impairment.
