Organ transplantation (kidney, liver, heart, lung, pancreas) to prevent rejection.

Severe cases of atopic dermatitis (eczema) when other treatments have failed.

Certain autoimmune diseases, such as myasthenia gravis and Behçet's disease, in some cases.

Treatment of graftversus-host disease (GVHD) after bone marrow transplantation.

Tacrovin Lotion 20ml (Tacrolimus) is an immunosuppressant drug that works by suppressing the body's immune system. It blocks the production of certain proteins that are involved in the immune response. By doing so, it reduces the likelihood of the body rejecting a transplanted organ or attacking its own tissues.

Store tacrolimus at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of tacrolimus varies depending on the condition being treated, the patient's age, weight, and overall health.

It is usually taken twice daily, either with or without food.

Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage and frequency for you.

Never change your dosage without consulting your doctor.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Tacrolimus can harm an unborn baby. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, talk to your doctor.



Children

The safety and effectiveness of tacrolimus in children have not been fully established. It should only be used in children when the potential benefits outweigh the risks.



Kidney

People with kidney problems should use tacrolimus with caution. It can worsen kidney function.



Liver

People with liver problems should use tacrolimus with caution. It can be metabolized by the liver, and liver problems can affect its elimination from the body.
