Enalapril

An ace inhibitor that relaxes blood vessels.

Losartan

An angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that also relaxes blood vessels.

Enalapril blocks the production of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Losartan blocks the action of angiotensin II by preventing it from binding to its receptors. This combined action leads to vasodilation (widening of blood vessels), reducing blood pressure and improving heart function.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual needs and response to treatment.

Typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Do not abruptly stop taking this medication; consult your doctor for guidance on tapering off the medication.

Dizziness

Lightheadedness

Fainting

Dry cough

Fatigue

Muscle cramps

Hyperkalemia (high potassium levels)

Changes in kidney function (rare)

Alcohol Consumption

Limit or avoid alcohol consumption as it can increase the risk of dizziness and hypotension.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor immediately if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.



Children

Safety and efficacy in children have not been fully established. Consult a pediatrician before using in children.



Kidney

Caution is needed in patients with impaired kidney function. Regular monitoring of kidney function may be necessary.



Liver

Caution is needed in patients with impaired liver function. Your doctor may need to adjust the dosage.
