Rosiglitazone

Belongs to a class of medications called thiazolidinediones (tzds). it works by increasing insulin sensitivity, helping your body use insulin more effectively.

Metformin

Belongs to a class of medications called biguanides. it helps lower blood sugar levels by decreasing the amount of glucose produced by your liver and increasing your body's sensitivity to insulin.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus, when diet and exercise alone are not enough to control blood sugar levels.

May be used in combination with other diabetes medications, including insulin.

Rositus M Tab (Rosiglitazone + Metformin) work together to improve blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes. Rosiglitazone increases insulin sensitivity in your body, while metformin reduces the amount of glucose your liver produces and improves your body's response to insulin.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

It is typically taken by mouth with a meal to reduce stomach upset.

Common side effects include: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, weight gain, headache, muscle aches.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of low blood sugar and other side effects. Consult your doctor about alcohol consumption while taking this medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness or lightheadedness, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Rosiglitazone and metformin can pass into breast milk. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children
