Rosiglitazone

Rosiglitazone is the active ingredient in the medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called thiazolidinediones (TZDs).

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) to improve blood sugar control.

Used in combination with diet and exercise to help lower blood sugar levels.

Rositus 2mg Tab (Rosiglitazone) works by increasing the sensitivity of your body's cells to insulin. Insulin is a hormone that helps your body use glucose (sugar) for energy. By increasing insulin sensitivity, rosiglitazone helps lower blood sugar levels.

Store rosiglitazone at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

The dosage of rosiglitazone will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.

It is typically taken once or twice a day with or without food.

Swallow the tablets whole with a full glass of water.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Rosiglitazone is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult with your doctor about alternative treatment options.



Children

Rosiglitazone is not approved for use in children.
