Rosicon 1mg Tab (Rosiglitazone) is a thiazolidinedione (TZD) that works by increasing the sensitivity of cells to insulin. This helps lower blood sugar levels by improving how the body uses insulin.

Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of rosiglitazone is determined by your doctor and will vary depending on your individual needs.

It is typically taken once or twice daily with or without food.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Do not stop taking rosiglitazone without talking to your doctor.

Fluid retention (edema)

Weight gain

Headache

Muscle aches

Heart failure (in some cases)

Bone fractures (in some cases)

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of liver problems. Talk to your doctor about alcohol consumption.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Rosiglitazone may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Rosiglitazone is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Rosiglitazone is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

Rosiglitazone may affect kidney function. Your doctor may monitor your kidney function.



Liver

Rosiglitazone may affect liver function. Your doctor may monitor your liver function.
