Rosuvastatin

A medication that belongs to a class of drugs called statins. it works by lowering the levels of low-density lipoprotein (ldl) cholesterol, often referred to as “bad” cholesterol, in the blood.

To lower high cholesterol levels in patients with high cholesterol or other risk factors for heart disease, including those who have already had a heart attack or stroke.

To prevent heart disease in people who are at high risk, even if their cholesterol levels are normal.

This combination drug works by reducing LDL cholesterol and increasing HDL cholesterol (“good” cholesterol) in the blood. Cholecalciferol aids in the absorption of calcium, contributing to bone health.
