Fenofibrate

A fibrate drug that helps lower triglycerides (a type of fat) in the blood.

Rosuvastatin

A statin drug that helps lower cholesterol levels in the blood.

High cholesterol (hyperlipidemia) and high triglycerides (hypertriglyceridemia), especially when diet and exercise have not been effective.

To reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events in patients with high cholesterol.

Fenofibrate helps reduce triglyceride levels by increasing the breakdown and removal of triglycerides from the body. Rosuvastatin reduces cholesterol levels by blocking the enzyme that helps the liver produce cholesterol.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose based on your individual needs.

Take this medication by mouth, usually once daily, with or without food.

Do not crush or chew the tablets.

It is important to take this medication regularly as prescribed by your doctor.

Muscle pain, weakness, or tenderness (rhabdomyolysis)

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of muscle problems. Limit alcohol intake while taking this medication.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for pregnant women. Consult your doctor before taking it if you are breastfeeding.



Children

Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.



Kidney

Liver
