Phenylephrine

A decongestant medication. it works by narrowing blood vessels in the nose, reducing swelling and congestion.

This medication combines several active ingredients that work together to relieve common cold and allergy symptoms. Antipyrine and chlorbutol provide pain relief and reduce inflammation. Chlorpheniramine maleate blocks histamine, reducing allergic reactions. Phenylephrine narrows blood vessels in the nose, reducing congestion.

The usual adult dose is one or two tablets or capsules every four to six hours, as needed.
